ANOTHER WORLD

 Another World is about abstraction and imagination.

I started taking close up photographs of roots and trees, flowers and plants. My initial interest was in abstract, organic shapes or designs. I took a lot of pictures, not seeing anything meaningful in them but forms or contrast. Later on when I printed them I realized that these images look like strange, little, organic creatures from Another World, which somehow become alive and visible once captured on film. So I went back “hunting” more of these little creatures
with my camera and released them on paper in the darkroom. I created a zoo, an organic, Another World out of roots, plants, flowers and trees...
